Colours of Life 2024 was held on the 20th April 2024, in the #10 room at the British Club, Bahrain. This was the 11th annual event and we were delighted to be back in person after the troubles of the past few years.
The Colours of Life was introduced to the calendar by David Hollywood, who was also the founder of the Second Circle. We are delighted David took part again in the festival this year.
Over 20 poets of various nationalities performed, they are members of the Second Circle which is the poetry arm of the Bahrain Writers’ Circle, and all have either lived, or are still living in the Kingdom.
Admission was free and the event was open for to all to watch on a first come, first served basis to secure a place to watch the outstanding talent.
